Ordix Privacy Policy
Last Updated & Effective Date: 25 May 2026
About This Policy
At Ordix, we build tools dedicated to helping you track, organize and restore your ideal workspace layout, so you never lose track of your favorite stationery, forget that perfectly ergonomic desk setup, or waste time hunting for misplaced items after a tidy-up. This privacy policy is designed to be fully transparent about how we handle data associated with your use of the Ordix service, so you can focus on crafting a workspace that fits your habits perfectly, without concerns about your personal information.
By accessing or using Ordix, you agree to the practices outlined in this policy.
Information We Collect
We only collect two categories of data to support and improve our service, and we never collect personal workspace content you create:
- Account-related data: Information you provide voluntarily when creating an Ordix profile, including your chosen display name, contact email address, and any preference settings you save to your account.
- Anonymous behavioral data: Non-identifiable data about how you interact with the Ordix app, including feature usage frequency, session duration, app performance metrics, device type, operating system version, and general app navigation patterns.
Critical Note: We never collect, access, store, or share any user-generated content you create within the Ordix app. This includes all desk layout snapshots, custom item labels, saved setup versions, workspace notes, and any other personal workspace content you upload or create. This content remains entirely under your control at all times, and never passes through our servers.
How We Use Collected Data
All data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To maintain core app functionality, resolve technical bugs, and optimize the user experience based on how people interact with Ordix features
- To send you important service updates, including notifications about feature releases or policy changes
- To support personalized ad delivery via our integrated third-party SDKs: Facebook and Adjust. These SDKs process anonymized behavioral data to serve you ads that align with your interests, and no personally identifiable account information is shared with these partners for ad targeting purposes.
- To analyze overall app usage trends to help us prioritize new feature development
We never sell your account or behavioral data to any third parties for any purpose.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We only share the data we collect in the following limited scenarios:
- With trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Ordix service (including cloud hosting providers, technical support teams, and analytics partners), who are contractually required to only use data to perform services on our behalf, and may not use it for any other independent purpose
- When required by legitimate, authorized official requests, where we are obligated to disclose data to comply with applicable procedural requirements
- In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale involving Ordix, where user data may be transferred as part of the business assets, and will remain subject to the terms of this privacy policy
Your Data Control Rights
We put full control of your data in your hands. You can exercise any of the following rights at any time by contacting our support team:
- Request access to all account and behavioral data we hold associated with your profile
- Request correction of any inaccurate account information stored on our systems
- Request permanent deletion of your Ordix account and all associated data we hold
- Request restriction of processing of your data for specific purposes
- Request a downloadable copy of all data associated with your account
All requests will be responded to within 3 business days, and all deletion requests will be fully processed within 30 days, with no residual backups of your data retained on our systems after this period, unless required by legitimate mandatory retention rules.
Data Security
We implement industry-leading security measures to protect the data we hold, including end-to-end encryption for all data transfers, AES-256 encryption for stored data, regular security audits, and restricted access to user data for our internal teams. While no digital security system is completely infallible, we continuously update our security protocols to mitigate against emerging risks and protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Policy Updates
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes to our service practices or operational requirements. We will notify all users of any material changes via in-app notification at least 30 days before the updated policy takes effect. Your continued use of Ordix after the new policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.
